Attendance registration

About the internship

Because of the obligation of an employer to know, at all times, which employees are present in the office(s), it is necessary to work with attendee lists.

Because the central badging systems in Hasselt and Mechelen are not being used to generate a list, another solution needed to be worked out. A solution that brings as little change as possible concerning the daily routine in the office. That’s why the decision was made to scan BLE-tags within a certain zone. The tags that are present have to be logged so the fire responsible can consult the log in case of calamities.

The goal of this internship is to build a working and automatic registration system by using BLE-tags.

Preferably this internship is executed with a team of developers (2-4). The PoC will exist out of a couple of major modules.
